Tom's Hardware Guide are putting the latest dual-core processors from Intel and AMD through a stress test for a whole week to see just what they're made of.
We subject the two devices to a full week under a maximum load, while running applications chosen to reflect typical usage conditions. This will make clear what stability and product quality really mean and whether investing in them pays off for buyers. These traits are of particular critical importance in a business environment, thus the focus on computing-intensive applications.
Check out the writeup of the test and also the live stats. At the time of writing the AMD system has been rebooted once, the Intel system twice!
