BoxGods have a review of a Universal Remote from Logitech. To be honest, I'm not sure it knows quite what it is. It has all the buttons of a remote control, and the infra red bit at the end, but it has a screen and changeable fascias, so maybe it's a phone gone wrong?
There really isn't much not to like about this remote. The ability to connect it to your PC, and the internet, via the included USB cable makes setup and programming much less complicated than other macro-based remotes I have used. The range is great, and the Remote itself is attractive and well designed ergonomically. The one-touch buttons, when combined with the smart state technology, make activities that require multiple steps a snap. The bright, easy to read interactive LCD, the glowing buttons, removable face plates, and having a help button, all add to the 676’s appeal.
