Google Worth £44bn

Gargantuan media company Google, only 10 months after starting trading as a public company, is the biggest media company on the face of the earth in terms of stock value, which is now at 80 billion dollars.

Flippin' heck, that's a huge share price when you compare Google's sales to Time Warner's. The argument for this, according to the BBC story, is that Google has immense "future earning potential". I'd say that's probably true. Googlarific!

I think they have been valued high due to how much there are part of modern life, granted Time Warner are a big media company but how many people have timewarner.com as their homepage aposed to google?

Wish i had stock in them now :)
