    Nvidia opens up SLI

    The Inquirer is reporting that NVIDIA are validating non-nForce based systems. Well, I say validating, they're being tested. That doesn't meant they'll get a gold star from NVIDIA and official support.
    It was mentioned that both i945 and i955X, as well as other chipsets from VIA and SiS are in testing procedure, but that certification depends soley on products making the grade.
    Given that we've already seen a working SLI system from VIA. Will it meet NVIDIA's standards? Fingers crossed it will, as it will no doubt make the up-coming SLI/CrossFire battle more interesting.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    to what degree does the hardware need to change? the suggestion is that the already seen system was k8t890 - does that mean i can use sli on my regular k8t890 board, with a bios upgrade?
