    Er... NEW Spectrum games...

Yep you read that right, someone is still developing new games for the good old Speccy... and a whole load of other platforms too.

Check out www.cronosoft.co.uk for a glimpse of what they're up to...

Their latest releases are Stranded, a brain teaser involving removing tiles from bridges and The Fantastic Mister Fruity, coded by Jonathan Cauldwell, with the unique gameplay best described as Advanced Fruit Machine Simulator meets Bomberman... so it's good to see the game's are still just as off the wall as they ever were.

It almost makes me want to dig out my Vic20...

I still love my old Commodore 64 ! (I know this is about the Spectrum ! )

I use an emulator now to play the games via the PC, it still works perfect with disk Drive and tape deck !

Its quite cool that they are going to release 2 speccy games ! Hopefully a few more will get together and start releasing for the other platforms also. A new Last Ninja game would really be welcome !

Heh, that's fantastic, but the website is awful. Is it deliberately bad :-S

    Still, the content matters most!

Yeah, I noticed one of the screenies looked a bit like Paradroid on the 64.

Its really mad that they are releasing them now, wonder why they are doing it ?

I will buy anything they release for the 64 then see about getting it to run on the PC via the emulator. Its really good news for all the retro nuts like me
