    What the hack!

    Over three thousand geeks have gathered at the "What the hack" conference in the Netherlands. However, these geeks are trying to break the stereotypical image of the ordinary hacker, as CNN Reports:
    "The idea was to break the stereotype" of hackers as sun-averse malcontents bent on vandalism, he said. "They've never been part of this community. And now there's fortunately space in the media for more than one kind of hacker."
    They've certainly done that, the conference goers laying in hammocks... all very formal.

    Subjects being discussed at What the Hack include everything from mayhem with RFID, through to improving your home's energy efficiency, presumably by hacking your central heating programmer.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    Why does this get a mention and Defcon[1] doesnt huh?
    They tend to be held at the same time and I have heard that this year both events have experienced heavy rain. Although I dont know how true that is.
    Both sites are experiencing heavy load and are slow though.
