    Advertising in games gone a bit mad?

    Mr Uros Jojic from Actiontrip has put a comic together depicting just how ridulous advertising in gaming could become:

    http://www.actiontrip.com/rei/comic.phtml?pic=41

    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    Recently advertising's increase in games is really beginning to bug me. The chief culprit of this being Enter The Matrix and Outrun 2. In Enter The Matrix there are loads of Pentium 4 and Lucozade adverts. While in Outrun 2 there are numerous different brands advertised, most memorably AMD.

    Supplying advertising in games is awful. Why pay to see adverts? You paid for the game, not to be enticed to buy a new processor.
