    F.E.A.R screenies on a beefy system

    Scott over at Bjorn3D took some screenshots of the F.E.A.R demo on a GeForce 7800GTX SLI system, at 1600x1200 with 4xAA and 8xAF.

    I think I'll be downloading this demo as, graphically at least, it looks pretty good.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    Considering he's running a 7800GTX in sli there is no difference in quality between that and the 6800GT/Ultra. Although he will be getting framerates. Time to play the demo again

    Does anyone else think this game is too dark? Its not as bad as D3, but I'm finding it hard to make enemies out in the constant shadow/dark areas .

    i have heard this from some people aswell.

    it is meant to be graphically amazing but i find myself leaning more towards gameplay than graphics lately.

    I didn't find it too hard. Flash light kicked in to make the whole atmosphere much better.

    If you're on LCD, could it be your contrast ratio?

    Doesn't have the widescreen set normally.

    They will release it in the final release, check the games thread for changing the res.

    The reason behind the weird (non 1280x1024) res' is that 1280x1024 is apparently not true 4:3 but 1280x960 is

    Yeah, I'm running a 9800pro, 1Gb TwinX and a 3000+ Winny and mine looks the same really!

    All the settings are set to max.

    Strange how his doesn't look much better...

    He will be getting double my frame rates though.
