    Blu-Ray Delayed by DRM

DRM is causing trouble once again, this time for BenQ. The company may have to delay production of its Blu-Ray disk drives, amidst issues implementing the DRM technology designed for the new discs.

Blue ray needs long delays, like another 4 years.

the consumer market is still getting to grips with DVD, blue ray may be taken up by techies such as us, but its gunna fall flat on its face in the wider world.

Blue Ray may be good for professionals, and next gen games, but who actually needs them for movies etc, when DVD's hold more than enough for movies+bonus features?

it's a very good point. blu-ray would be good for backup purposes though, so i suppose they would have a small use
