Peter Ash, of Lawford, Somerset, attached a generator to his hamster's exercise wheel and connected it to his phone charger.
Elvis does the legwork while Peter charges his phone in an economically and environmentally friendly way.

2 minutes of trundling gets Peter half an hour of talk time. Pretty nifty!

Re: Hamster charges mobile phone
Somewhere a venture capitalist is rubbing his hands with glee and wondering if this can be out in time for christmas... Given the amount of useless USB gadgets (is there a hamster in a wheel USB thing?) then this would be a great alternative: hamster wheel with USB +5V output :)
Re: Hamster charges mobile phone
Hamsters using mobile phones while driving is almost as bas as them falling asleep at the wheel.
