Yield issues with Sony's Cell chip has resulted in only seven of the eight cores functioning on some of the processors. The Inquirer reports:Fuad then goes on to talk about Oscar Wilde, for some reason...Sony can guaranty that the seven cores will work, while the other one might work in some cases but the company can not guarantee this.
Sony said that this is due to yield problems but is adamant that the seven cores will work in every case. The company advised developers to bear that in mind when they're getting down and dirty on the development front.

And if i remember rightly, the above didn't stop Sony showing 'something' at E3 along with Microsoft.
