ATM it's due in both guises and I don't think this will change as they'll be a lot of 32bit machines around for a few years to come.

As for DRM, people are really getting too much sand in their vagina.

DRM is something that will be good, the same people that are saying "ohhz myz godz, wind0wz isz soz sh!tz becaz thez virusz, andz M$ suck0rz" are the same ones that say "There are no viruses on linux"... want to know what really will stop people getting virues. Proper signing!

MS know that its software which makes the platform, like a good office sweet, and as such have always been ahead of the game in providing good resources to people. There not about to stop whats made windows so widely used.

DRM will only be applied to what the consumer lets it be applied too. If you want the latest super dooper hidef stuff, then you will have to buy it. You won't have to use it because Vista supports (will it?) it, but because the content you want demands it.
