I've still got a bunch of Crucial ram that's been in regular use for over 6 years without any fault at all. In fact none of the ram I've bought from them has ever gone wrong..

What the heck are you doing with it? Eating it?

Hmm, fair enough. I stand by the statement though, if I'd been keeping track of the number of forum posts I'd seen where people have had issues with the ballistix sticks(them breaking that is) and the number of times some people had had to RMA the things, then I'd have a number in the hundreds to give you. While I see no posts about other RAM's breaking, I see many about ballistix.

I've gotta say, the RMA process, is from what I've read and heard, fantastic, almost everyone has new sticks within a week, its professional, prompt and well done. But personally, I'd rather go for RAM that doesn't have the widespread that the ballistix does, even if that means a lesser RMA service.

Firstly, this isn't me, its people on various other forums I goto, some overclocking, some not overclocking in the slightest, there seem to be a massive number of bad sticks out there, that, or the production process/standards of these things is just really low.

Secondly, I'm not talking about all crucial RAM, theres plenty of crucial ram in my house, the regular stuff is fantastic when you need cheap but reliable stock ram. I'm talking specificaly about the "ballistix" range. Its great ram, but it breaks alot, simple as that.
