Half Life 2 : Dystopia Mod demo

This mod for Half Life 2 is based on a cyberpunk world with a hight tech world and computers everywhere. It takes the player through the real world and into cyberspace by jacking in terminals. It sounds like The Matrix crossed with the old Gibson novel Neuromancer as once in cyberspace you can hack into systems to achieve youre goals.

A demo of this mod is now available for download at Fileplanet and a few other places.

This mod is fantastic. It combines elements from many games, from the teamplay and class system of Natural Selection and TFC, to the hacking and cyberspace elements of Deus Ex and Tron. It's also very popular, apparently at one point it had more players than HL2 deathmatch.


The gameplay is superb. At first it may seem quite complicated due to the added depth of cyberspace, but once you know what you're doing it's great fun. It's also very very polished for a first release of a mod, in fact you could mistake it for an actual game demo.


I'd recommend everyone to give this mod a go, it's worth it
