    Talking Free full classic game

For anyone that missed this or never heard of it (highly improbable !!! ), PC Zone magazine (DVD version) this month (F.E.A.R on the cover) are giving away the full version of Hidden and Dangerous Deluxe.

Deluxe version has the expansion built into it, patches put into the code and upgraded to support Direct X 8.1 textures (Direct X 7 when first released).

So, PC Zone is on the shelves now and comes with this great piece of software, all for a mere £5.99.

For first time players it should keep you going till one of the new big name titles come out, enjoy

Just reading the magazine and apparently 3 of the five games are on the CD version of the mag, it doesnt say which 3 though. Take a look on both disks, never know you may actually have it on there as it was origionally released on a single cd.

    Five games are :

    BMX Simulator
    Beneath a Steel Sky
    Hidden & Dangerous Deluxe
    The Elder Scrolls : Arena
    Treasure Island Dizzy

Games that need Dosbox and SCUMMVM, programs are actually supplied on the disk also.

All in all getting good value for money with a great magazine. It also gives a list on the bottom left of page 126 of other games available and where to get them.

    Nice find matey

Will scoot about and see what else I can find thats free !

I believe PC Zone DVD version is going to be doing this a bit more regularly so will keep things like this posted up when I get the mag (get it a few days earlier than the shops as I have a delivered subscription to it) so everyone knows about it.

/looks at his original boxed versions on his shelf

Good find though, I think the free versions of GTA and GTA2 were better though, both of those are easily many times better than their console-spoilt later versions (GTA3/VC/SA). GOURANGA!! etc

Try here for some free games too. Not been there for a while but downloaded a few games a few years ago from them.
