    David Braben's new project : The Outsider

    Ok, so it's not Elite, but Frontier Developments claim it'll have the free-form, open gameplay of Braben's classic...

    Difficult not to think of David Braben as a mad deluded over ambitious off the wall genuis who swings from the sublime (Elite, Zarch) to the absurd (Frontier etc).

    Maybe he should bring back Ian Bell to reign him in.
