Is that a shot of the actual game?
Whats the thoughts about this and it hitting launch date now???..
With most of the stuff that Nick has posted today are not in game shots, since when do you look at the rear pipes of a lamborgini when you are driving
I think the in cockpit one may be actual in game but thats it.
TiG ?Fed up with graphics candy?

Sorry TiG, but these are apparently shots from the replay mode, so they are using the game engine.
That's what it says here anyways.
I saw running code of this in Leipzig and it really does look this good.
Actually, quite a lot of the stuff I've put up today is in game... you can tell in the fine details, texture joins and so on.. you wouldn't get that in pre-rendered stuff.
Actually, pop over to this site and pull down one of the vids, the top one on that page:
http://files.vgpro.com/games/x360/pr...acing_3/#video
Ignore the low res, its a video, but all the stuff like reflections and car details are there... Alos notice how the wheels are 'twitching' as the player drives... you wouldn't see that on pre-rendered movie footage, it'd all be smooth and silky.
I think the problem we have, me included, is that after seeing those frankly jaw dropping screenshots when both the Xbox 360 and PS3 were announced and then finding them to all be pre-rendered stuff, we have a bit of trouble believing just how good the graphics will be and so we take all these screens with a heavy pinch of salt.
Believe me though, there's some serious grunt in the Xbox 360 which isn;t apparent from just looking at system specs... That ATI GFX chip is one canny piece of kit.
