    Video editing in Win MCE

You may have guessed it - I am a Media Centre nut right now.

Daniel Giambalvo has just released a new beta version of his dCut plug-in for Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition. dCut is the perfect tool to edit and compress your recorded Television shows and you can do it all from your couch, on your Television just by using your remote control! The plug-in now comes in a msi installer package so getting it to run on your Media Center is easily done.

Okay Okay - its not 'full' video editing - but heck, how sweet is this, I can now crop out the commercials

The thing is - you can play other Codecs.

But I think it is clear what this is all building up to - the 360 and how much of it you can hack your MCE box to feed to it via the Extender function
