What is the situation vis-a-vis 'illegal' optimisations and image quality in the current Nvidia drivers (particularly on the 7800 series) now? This was a major blocker to me considering getting a 7800 card...

I have a Hyper-Threaded P4. Does anyone know if these drivers would be better for me over the 70 series? Or does it only benefit the 'proper' dual CPUs ??
    Any benchmarks?
I'm commenting on an internet forum. Your facts hold no sway over me.

I wouldn't take any notice of Dual cor optimizations, it's a load of rubbish, the drivers are better because there better, not because you have An X2, or Dual P4.
