A Revolution? The First LumiLED LCD Display

The effort was long and painful, but it was worth the wait. After months in the final development stages, LumiLED technology is finally ready for the market. Announced with much hullabaloo at Cebit 2005, LED backlighting has pushed back the limits of LCD technology, both in terms of color rendering and longevity. Read on and you'll learn all you need to know about this new technology.

Thats great and all, but absolutely useless for domestic situations. I'd rather have one of the new samsungs. I can see how it would be of use to graphic designers, but most of them favour large crts (or the ones I know anyway)

organic LED, and LCD is ment to be better but has problems getting to work in high colour.

take a look at sony's ultra portable music players, they show off the benefits of it nicely.
