    Mr Bulk LionCub LED flashlight

Dan, the man who likes his gadgets, reviews a flashlight. Sounds boring? Not when Dan writes the article, oh no.
Buying most flashlights is about as difficult as buying aspirin.

Buying some very special lights is more like buying firearms.

Buying a Mr Bulk LionCub is like buying heroin. But, arguably, worth it.

    Read the link pyle!

Its not as simple as that (also range would depend on the focus of the beam etc.)

Ahh the flashlight fetish brigade, they tend to hang around on the edge of firearms, knife, civil defence/police and outdoors forums. Quiet often made up of those that the local law enforcement wont allow to have firearms The allways pop up when somebody mentions they want a torch for walking the dog, they come forward with what undoutably is the worlds best dog walking torch, but it costs £500, another with the same fetish will then appear so they can argue over whats best, or what was used in CSI last night. Personally I have my doubts and think they are the same person with schizophrenia.

You just have to remember and get the *correct* maglite

    http://www.maglite.com/product.asp?psc=1AAACELL&pt=R
for instance, if you were up in court being asked questions after you used it, i *really* wouldnæt want to know what you did...

I went to a beer festival in London run by CAMRA, bloke on the door looked like Homer Simpson dressed for a SWAT pyjama party. He had the biggest maglite I have ever seen must have been 2ft, was very tempted to ask if he had some fluffy handcuffs in his belt kit.

On the self defence note my wife previous workplace provided training in dealing with hostile situations, bloke was an ex copper and suggested leeping a maglite in the car behind the drivers seat, can be used for a variety of situtions including smashing a wndow in the event of an accident, can even be used to see in the dark apparently.
