UK wows world with computerised butter dish

That's the headline for an appropriate follow-up to The Register's piece about the perfect egg-soldier prep tool.

The Reg is reporting a Reuters story about 'ButterWizard' the perfect, temperature-controlled butter dish suitable, it reckons, for all would-be Marlon Brandos.

BUTTER WIZARD - and that, rather than ButterWizard, is its name according to the Patent Office - uses microchip-control of a fan and heating element to keep butter at its optimum spreading temperature of 65 deg F (18.3 C).

It's the brain-child of David Alfille, md of Alfille Innovations Ltd, who, presumably, now thinks his fortune is made.

    Bless.
