whats with the exhaust facing the wrong way?
....so that it can keep your CPU warm during cold *brrrr* winter nights.
Personally, I'd like to see more development on the passive side of things:-
7800GT
Artic Silencer prob have the rights to a horizontal exhaust to the outside of the case or something, as I have noticed this with many stock coolers, except for the bizarre ATi coolers. Actually that was probably a lie, they have just made it and right at the end they are like 'Oh crap I put it the wrong way around ;_; oh well I can't be asked, lets sell it'Originally Posted by UKMuFFiN

OK I see why it has the two DVI outputs, and a video output, but why does it have that DC laptop style connection? Do you connect this graphics card to a seperate psu so it doesnt tax your pc psu or something?
Edit: woo 500 posts!
Can you copyright an idea like 'blowing the hot exhaust air outside the case'?
Nox
it cant be anything to do with copyright 'cos my X850 blows the fumes out the back of the case...
lol, pwned by Syn. Nice.
that's one big ugly bitch card ....
extra connector is to provide more power to card from external supply, some kinda power brick i guess, thats what first blurb when first pics of card were out. seems fairly pointless, though i guess not everyone buying a card will already have a decent enough psu. all a bit weird. all the stuff i'm using i use too many plugs as it is
tell me about it, i got a 6 way extension lead behind my pc and im using another socket, still not enough! AAARRRRGGGGHHH
looks like agiant banana to me, but thats just me
