Its the lack of Japanese support meaning very few quality titles (at least ones that appeal to the Japanese gamer) that means the 360 is scuppered in Japan.

Its all about the games and theres not much there to entice the Japanese

Aside from the hardware there's not much to warrent purchasing a 360 yet in terms of games...that's probably why it will fail in japan. Maybe if when M$ release their next console they have more than 6(?) games and more than 2 good ones it will be more of a success...
