    The Japanese Case Mod

    Despite a rise in the popularity of modding, there's always somebody who has a crazy and individual modding idea, like this one.
    "Sangaku" (which in Japanese translates to "mathematics tablet") is the synthesis of my passion for furniture making and my fascination with computers, and this is my first try at modding a computer. I was disappointed with most of the wood cases I've seen and thought I could make an improvement. The design is primarily based on Japanese lamps and shoji screens. The Japanese attention to detail carries over to the craftsmanship of the case since it took approximately 300 hours to construct and contains approximately 130 wood joints, most of which were done entirely by hand with my Japanese chisels and dozuki saw.

    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    That's ace. Very high level of craftmanship. How about a fanless mini-ITX (or nano-ITX when they arrive over here) board in one of these:

    I feel a project coming on...
