The period between Christmas and the new year is when many people get depressed about returning to work and start looking for a new and better job.

The problem with google jobs ,for me at least, is one of the requirements for their software dev posts is a degree and from a "leading university".

Hmm...interesting...My mate is going round job agencys now (he hasnt had a job since the autumn ish), and apparently its a good time to look for work because people do not want the hassle of changing jobs around christmas, and with christmas debts to pay off, people just stay put for now at least.Quote:
