Hello
I put this patch on a few days ago and am intrigued as to why the LCD on my G15 keyboard does not show % CPU usage for 2 cores, as is indicated when I play Quake4 after its dual core patch.
I couldn't find any console command instructions to activate dual-coreness - have I missed something, 'cos you need to enter a console command for Quake4?
Some AMD sites have said that the patch has improved frame rates for AMD CPUs and so if dual core is not really happening on my AMD system, I am wondering whether this "dual core only" patch actually has some other hidden improvements.
Anyway I'm fortunate enough that the game runs at good framerates @ 1024x768 - never less than 36fps, so don't need any boost really.
cheers
snedger
