NBC and Universal HD plan to broadcast the Torino Olympic Winter Games in February 2006 in HDTV and Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound throughout the US. NBC will use Dolby E technology to transport the multichannel audio signal from Torino to its New York and Los Angeles broadcast centers.
