i take it they are using USB for the conrollers now instead of some custom connector. Whats with the three network ports on the back?

Whats the block at the front next to the blu-ray drive? it seems like it can come off? is it the hard drive storage/memory card slots?

I quite like the design, but yeah that controler is sooo ungly its unreal.

As for the three network ports, why do you need three? im guessing the PS3 can be linked up to other PS3's without a router? Maybe it just acts as a network bridge, but surely that would only need 2 ports. And i thought it had wireless to?
