    Matrix Orbital MX2 LCD Preview

    I've just received this new lcd in the mail. First impressions are very good. Here some preview pics for you to look at:









    It has the following features:

    • Custom Startup screen (aka Splash screen)
    • High viewing angle and excellent contrast
    • Integrated 7 key keypad or real aluminum overlay (black or brushed)
    • 3x 12 Watt fan capable outputs (1amp at 12V)
    • Quick install sheet with full step by step manual on CD
    • USB Interface!
    • 255 settings for Fan Speeds
    • RPM Reporting of fans at any speed setting
    • Full version of LCDC included
    • Low Power GPOs (Can be used with the Indicator LED Bus or DIY LEDs)
    • Regular A to B 3ft USB cable

    • Friendly and fast hardware and software support at out forums (www.lcdfourms.com)
    • MSRP is ~$99.95 USD

    very nice... i still think the software could do with alot of improving though.

    How so? Works better than any other lcd software I know of

    yep its the best software around... but it needs improving.

    i found it to be very unstable on both my PC's (windows XP) when i used it on my MO USB LCD a few weeks ago.

    Not had it crash on me yet I admit last time I used it , I got the occasional crash

    don't suppose it would fit 3 1/2 drive bay????

    Can you get a cable to connect it to the internal USB headers..?
    this would save having to run the cable out the box

    I dont suppose there will be a black alu version of this coming out at the same time?
    Might be interested in one, just to add some useless but cool gadgit to my case

    I'm still waiting for someone to come out with an LCD which is more than 4 lines... I don't mind an unit using up two of my 5.25" bays in my Lian Li.

    heh my first and only lcd i ever had didnt even fit in my cdrom bay , I was forced to sell

    I was the one that was going mad at MO for weeks at a time about alu fronts when alu was unheard of for most people, and do i get a free one ?, nooooooo

    It's a shame you can't get nice LCD's to fit 3 1/2 bays, 'cos everybody's got at least 1 free bay....

    u can always make it fit into a floppybay,,i did with my sn41g2 and it looks mighty fine
