    E3 - 2006 : AFTERMATH :: PS3 20GB model : What are you getting for your money?

    Confusion as Sony tell us there is no difference between the 60Gb and 20Gb models.

    Check out the Headline for more info.

    It appears that most people who are in the Industry and anyone who likes to know about specs, knows about the differences between the two versions. However Sony's comments last week seem to have confused the casual gamer, I think it's important that people know what they are getting for their money.

    Rumour has it that the 20Gb version won't actually make an appearance in the UK.

    Early vendors allowing pre-orders certainly seem to only take orders for the 'full on' version.

    Whether or not there's any substance to the rumour, only time will tell.

    20 gig version might have hd - it just wont have hdmi. other options would be a vga or component video out.

    hmmm surly high level production costs between the 2 versions would be small infact having to manufacture 2 different consoles seem unlikly.

    I would not be surprised if the uk only got the 60gig version.

    Maybe they are doing a cheaper version for china or somthiing.

    How are Sony doing Wifi, if it's not built in to the hardware itself (along with a memory card reader) then, are they wasting an expansion bay on it?

    Its the licensing cost on the HDMI port where they also save money

    Since it is so big you could just put a small monkeh inside it writing things down
