    Tricky one

Not wanting to give away much here, so we'll start with the bundle:

    An a, erm, close-up:

It is an Ati X1800XT graphix card, the little cooler-stripe and 6-pin PCI-e powerplug gives it away. By the colors I would guess it is a purely referencecard-based board, I'm betting on Club 3D or may be GexCube/Gigacube

That is what I would guess at too. I am interested to see what this card can do but what I really want is an XL version for £200.

X1900XT, i think. If you showed other side of the back end of the card i would have known for sure. X1900 cards have 7 of those black blocks at the back while X1800 have 5 or 6.

PowerColor's X1900XL AIW was my first thought. (PLEASE LET IT BE A AIW!!!) Considering you've already done a review on the X1800XL AIW it won't be that. Unless, like Sawyen said, you'll be giving it away. XD

My guess it's the X1800XT BULK.

I cant see it being an AIW tbh. Too early. They usually release the AIW cards a while afeter they launch the others.

True, I'm just getting my hopes up. Plus I'm hoping they'll release the X1800XL AIW in AGP.

However this will be the X1900XT (i think) We will see that its a great card. Everything everyone wants! Then what ATI will do is release it in say november By then nvidia will be using 65nm process with 1000mhz Core and 2500mhz Memory Along with 50 Pipes lol.

No seriously i hope ATI has learned its lesson this time and stops with silly paper launches and actually releases a card on time for a change because nvidia will and ATI will lose even more money.

Well said! Many people were set on the R520's beating the 7800's before it was even released. D'you reckon the X1900XT(X) will be able to hold it's own against the G71?

I know this is going off topic, but is there anywhere I can add my avatar (Edit Avatar doesn't seem to give me the option) and change my username? I have a feeling admin will have to change my username if I can't. Pretty pointless having a L missing off the end of my name, but I would like to change it something else.

You have to have mroe posts to be able to get an avatar and i dont think you can change your name but a mod mite be able to.

I personnally think Nvidia is going to win this round too. Ati may have the crown for a short while but thats it.
