IBM wants to know: Have you talked to SCO?

IBM is seeking information on communcation between SCO and a number of companies associated with the Unix Intellectual Property legal battle that continues with no end in sight. Microsoft, Sun, Hewlett Packard and Baystar Capital are the big boys in question.

Given the number of patents IBM files each year, and their sheer size, you'd think they'd know a fair bit about IP... so why even try to take them on? SCO or IBM, who's right?
