    The Swiss Army... MP3 player

We all remember when Victorinox announced a Swiss Army knife with USB flash memory built into it, right? They've taken it one step further now, slapping an MP3 player onto their handy little knife and calling it the s.beat.

yeah - that will be fun trying to get on the plane with that. considering my g/f had taken her complimentary sewing kit off one flight (containing two pointy things called needles) - the level of abuse she got from airport security staff in Geneva makes me think old victorinox hasn't quite thought this one through.

Odd really if you think about it. Firstly, it would have to be incredibly robust and water proof to make it really viable as both an MP3 player and a camping tool or whatever.

The other thing is that, although it may have a small blade, if you are seen flashing that around a town there is a change Mr Policeman might like to liberate you off it.

More of a novelty item than a proper MP3 player and tool, but i bet it will sell well all the same. But i would not want one, thats for sure.

i'm pretty sure you're allowed to carry an up-to-3" blade around with you without genuine reason..
