    What RAM to use for a value system?

    What are the folks in the HEXUS.labs using on our low-end test beds? That's the question at the tips of all your tongues right now, and here's the answer, in picture form:

    Thanks to Corsair for kindly providing them. They'll keep our low-end hardware tests running nicely.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    51MB (2x256MB) of Corsair ValueSelect. Cas latency 3.

    Basically everything here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145477

    But why only 256MB per module? Guess I'd have to ask Corsair.
    See System Specs.

    Dual channel memory helps a bit I guess and the chips can be binned lower with smaller modules. CAS3 512mb modules are very common so imagine how many chips suitable for 256 modules are they gong to get?
