    Larger-than-life laptop

    A perfectly innocuous laptop, right?

    But what's going on here?

So where does the battery pack go then? Surely it must be pretty mahoosive otherwise you wouldn't be able to be further than 10 mins from a power socket...

I don't see the point in dual gfx cards in a laptop, let alone a PC

Reminds me of that joke - the punchline arriving when "Famous" Eric and the Pope are stood on the balcony and Eric's mate (who doesn't believe he's really very famous) asks a person standing next to him in the crowd, "Who's that up there?" - and gets the reply, "I don't know who the little guy in the funny costume is but I think that's Eric standing next to him".

It is the Clevo M490U, the PDF manual is already available at www.clevo.com.tw

It has a Turion Processor, Go7800GTX SLi and nForce 4 chipset. At 19" the machine is a monster with a resolution of 1680x1050. It can't opperate SLi on battery (not surprising), has a single HDD, two miniPCI slots (TV tuner and WiFi), built in Webcam and five cooling fans...
