Starz Entertainment Group enters into marketing agreement with HP to promote Vongo on HP and Compaq notebook PCs

Deal will provide HP customers with special 30-day trial to subscription service offering movie and video titles via the internet

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., March 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Starz Entertainment Group LLC (SEG) today announced a co-marketing agreement with HP to promote Vongo, SEG's new video download application and service, on the entire line of HP and Compaq consumer notebook personal computers (PCs) in the United States. The agreement gives HP customers a one-month, unlimited trial subscription to the Vongo service. With Vongo, consumers can download from more than 1,000 selections of movies and other video content.

Beginning this Spring, the special promotional offer will be bundled into HP and Compaq consumer notebook computers. With Vongo, new purchasers of the HP Pavilion and Compaq Presario notebook lines will be able to download and watch movies, concerts, extreme sports, and other video content directly from their hard drives on the color-rich Brightview displays.
