I know that Funkstar has addressed this to an extent (thanks!) but what I should stress is that this is something that lives on HEXUS.lifestyle - the HEXUS digital-home channel - and is a product that is both digital and for the home.

But, even ignoring that, the very fact that so many people have commented about it seems to me to show that it has some considerable relevance.

Oh, and HEXUS.lifestyle isn't intended to appeal just to techies but to ordinary folk as well - on the basis that there's a lot more of them than there is techies and that digital home is intended to be mass-market not a niche thing.

Surely if its better quality etc then Stereo should be supported ?
Sometimes something comes along which is so lovingly crafted and put together it's difficult to compare it directly to other products as it's almost in it's own category. A Pure evoke is made from a chip board box which is then laminated with fake veneer. These are hand finished aluminium castings with matching handle giving it a weight of 2.5 kgs. Sometimes it's just a pleasure to pay that much more for something that extra bit special that will look good and give enjoyment for so much longer. The quality remains long after the price is forgotten and I think the world would be a duller place without objects like this. A matching speaker will soon be available too. If you could stretch to it you'd buy an Aston Martin wouldn't you? regardless of how much use it is at Tesco's. I designed it by the way.

DAB better quality? If you call 192kbp MP3 better.
