It seems somebody, humourously or otherwise has been spreading the good old fear, uncertainty and doubt (aka FUD) about installing Windows XP onto an x86 Mac.Of course, it's all rubbish, so don't worry!The idea was first printed in MacRumors and was based on the idea that the current XP install doesn’t have a fan driver. This means that the MacInteltosh’s fan does not switch on and the whole lot overheats.

I would think there is not much emulation happening in the background apart from the EFI stuff
