    Windows XP: Mac melter?

    We think not, and by 'we', we mean anybody with a grain of common sense. It seems somebody, humourously or otherwise has been spreading the good old fear, uncertainty and doubt (aka FUD) about installing Windows XP onto an x86 Mac.
    The idea was first printed in MacRumors and was based on the idea that the current XP install doesn’t have a fan driver. This means that the MacInteltosh’s fan does not switch on and the whole lot overheats.
    Of course, it's all rubbish, so don't worry!

    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    want the mac for FCP since my clients want me to edit on it, but prefer to have the pool of windows software for other purposes.

    would absolutely save me cash to have 2 in 1
