It's a motherboard... but which motherboard?

The true spirit of the HEXUS.pipeline is to be found in this'un. We have but one board shot to show you. All you have to do is work out which board it is. There are a few clues to be found in the pic by inspection, but it's not easy...

And the prize for telling us what it is... self-satisfaction - there's no better reward!

Hmm tricky. I'd say Foxconn by the PCI-E clips. Their previous AMD boards weren't red, so maybe it's an intel one. But then I've not seen them do different colours PCI-E slots before.

Wild guess would be a Foxconn 975 intel chipset

MSI ATI 3200 board, of some name (MSI always use the funny recepticals for their USB/Firewire ports, rather than just bare pins.

Hardly good, its rather limiting on space for bigger coolers/waterblocks.

Its better than most. Even with dual dual slot coolers I would still have 1 PCIe x1 and 1 PCI. Most boards I see leave you with nearly nothing (ie 1 useless PCIe x1). Spahire are the worst if you look at their most recent layout but with nearly all xfire/SLI board you get screwed. DFI have a good one but the look so damn ugly and are over-priced for someone like me. the Asus A8R-MVP is also alright but those are the only ones that spring to mind.
