    and its rivendell, not dale, and you no one fights their way out in the book, they (kind of) have to there.

    Is it set at the same time as LOTR? or somewhere else in the timeline?

    Will be interesting to see a non magic MMORPG (only the wizards could use anything close to the kind of stuff you get in world of warcraft/d&d etc, and there was only 7 of them, so i doubt theyll be PCs)

    He said it covers the LOTR period, but also incorporates previous Tolkein lore? Does that make sense? you can tell I'm not a huge fan of LOTR!

    Yeh, it probably covers stuff like the Silmarilion (never read it..very heavy stuff). Should be good if that's in it, there were lots of nice demons around then.
