Live Sky Sports footie & cricket on Vodafone 3G

Vodafone Live! and Sky and are offering 3G mobile users live coverage of international cricket and Football League play-offs - beginning Saturday May 6.

This will be, Sky says, the first time in the UK that football matches are shown live simultaneously on mobiles and on TV - though what's going to be shown on mobiles may not, seemingly, be exactly the same as TV viewers see.

Things kick-off with Saturday's play-off semi-finals. Around 100 hours of mobile coverage is promised for the first month.

Anyone got a sample of the quality of broadcast?

I thought 3g was a slow technology, its like watching Realplayer 56k videos all over again
