No he is wrong (on a technicality).Originally Posted by ExceededGoku
Its obviously a 7950GX2, but its not 1GB. Would you call 2x7900GT (256MB frame buffer each) cards SLIed together, 512MB cards? No? Well then don't call two GPUs SLIed together with 512MB framebuffer each a 1GB card. Its 512MB, or 2x512MB but please not 1GB.
Blasted NV marking hype..grumbe..grumble..grumble
See System Specs.
lol ye you're right. Nvidia will always win because of their marketing...

You're quite right; no, I wouldn't. But from there your reasoning gets a bit wafty. You see, I wouldn't call that a 512 card because it's 2 seperate units....this however is not. It's not 2 seperate things that are purcahsed independently, and then bolted together: it's how it comes, in the box, as one complete thing. Ok, it may have 2 pcbs, and 2 gpu's, but it is still one piece of hardware, and as such can be quite reasonably be considered as a multi gpu, 1gb graphics card.Originally Posted by Bull Dog
is it a 7900 gt 512 mb?
