    Elonex now trading in administration

Signs are that the London-based system builder Elonex has been placed into receivership.

We're trying to contact the company to find out the real score but all the many phone numbers we've tried are dead or not being answered or seem to be putting out inappropriate voice-mail messages.

Know anything about what's going on? Make sure to tell us here.

Keep an eye on the HEXUS front page, as well, for updates.

NOTE - I've change the title of this thread because Elonex is trading in administration - it is not in receivership. Bob

They were system errors, really, I think, nothing juicy.

These sorts of problems do happen but what I find disturbing is that, even now, the Elonex web site has no mention of what's going on and, thus, gives the impression of "business as usual".

You can even follow through the procedure to buy stuff!

And, even now, on Sunday 18th, there's still nothing on Elonex's site to indicate anything is wrong - and, it would seem, people are still being invited to buy.

Same happened when Multivision closed down; people who bought systems in the week or so after didn't recieve their systems, and there was a lot of fuss over warranties.

Pity, their Ionix PCs were excellent value.

    Update - June 21

    UPDATE - JUNE 21 - 14:08

Just received my first comms from Elonex since the company went into administration.

All it contained was the contact details for the administrators.

Oh, and the Elonex online site is still offering products for sale.

The administrators' details are as follow:

    Neville Kahn and Nick Edwards

    Deloitte & Touche LLP
    PO Box 810
    66 Shoe Lane
    London EC4A 3WA
    Fax: +44 (0) 207 007 3442

Well, given that Delete and Touch-up are running the show now, then your chances of getting anything delivered are marginal, I'd have thought...
