    Text messaging 12,000 times more expensive than email!

    Glynn Byrd's blog highlights the high cost of text messaging, saying that it's 12,000 times more expensive than email!

    It's actually more. SMS characters are compressed (at least in the UK) down to 7bits so a 160 character SMS is actually only 120 bytes in length!
