Well, it's got a mini USB and, seemingly a couple of RJ45s, so that's a reasonable guess.

So don't feel bad about being wrong.

I'm not a cruel man - except to children, pets and people even older than myself - but, for now, I think there are enough clues to be going on with.

i'm very new to all this but i'm thinking some kind of network storage or controller. vague i know.
