I'm not going to pretend I know the ins and outs of PC specs, I'll leave that to Nick and you guys.
Perhaps you can tell me whether these specs appear valid or not. :)

Look about right in all honesty. Crisis should be fun :D
They look very realistic to me, not to demanding but its bringing about the phasing out of old generation cards. I can imagine this game looking terrible on SM2.0 cards (X850 and lower/ GF5750 and lower)
looks like i need to buy some more ram then!
and get urself a copy of windows Vista :/
it works on XP.....as per minimum specification.
I really can't see it requiring that much as a minimum spec; they'd be cutting out 80% of their prospective customers.
I'm pretty sure the only specs on their website are that it has to have DX9 and SM2.0, so all the specds there are to be taken with a pinch of salt.
To run it at the "recommended" settings it says vista though.Quote:

Not too bad. i am roughly midway between the minimum and recommened, so it should be quite playable. i cant wait :)

All pretty cheap now, even cheaper in six months...
Turns out that recommended is what I have now - and I intend to upgrade before then anyway :)
Actually it might well do - DX10 has far less overhead than it's predecessor so that alone should mean better framerates on Vista.Quote:

Using the results of a survey undertaken by Valve, only about 20% of users are likely to have the gear to play Crysis. If you check my specs, I was fairly high on the list - not only a little worrying, but also a bad omen for Crytek...
Matt.
