The big red button USB hub

Imagine a USB hub with an apocalyptic button on it. How many of you had imagined such a thing before I suggested it? You lot worry me sometimes.
The unit - which conveniently doubles up as a four-port USB hub during peacetime - is equipped with a launch key, suitably military-looking toggle switches and, of course, the big red button, tucked under a protective flap to avoid an accidental apocalypse.

looks good, would be good if you could hook 4 usb missle launchers to the ports so that the red button triggers them all to fire at you annoying workmate

Looks like a prop out of some late 80s hacker movie; geeks these days have more taste anyway.

But will it stop having to unplug-plug a Razer Diamondback on every boot?

I was expecting just a neat, simple, large, flat, round RED button that I could thump. Perhaps as detailed as having "BANG" on it.

Instead it's a great big mission control. Nah. All that hassle having to get someone else to come along with their key around their neck and then turn the keys on my mark three... two... one... click just to use a thumbdrive...

It looks like the button and switches only trigger a sound and nothing else. BUT I'm guessing that most people on Hexus will have access to a solder gun and the urge to use it
