Wii promo image contains clues to Wii games? Do you know who they are?

New Wii promo image hints at upcoming games?

Have to admit I struggled with the characters on this poster...in fact it's driving me mad trying to remember what that big yellow thing is on the left hand side.

If you recognise any of the characters, please let us know.

Driving me nuts already. There are so many familiar characters, I just can't remember their names.

It says 'SEGA' on the number plate of the car Luigi is driving in the bottom left hand corner.
I presume that the Wii will feature quite a few SEGA games.

They're all pretty easy if you aren't a PS generation gamer.

the robot thing is one of the ones from sonic adventure i reckon
good to see megaman and kong will both be getting outings, i reckon the could make a pretty sweet megaman fps, although it would probably end up very similar to metroid.

To me it looks like a collection of classic characters, hinting at what games youll be able to download and play on the Wii fom the back catalogue of the NES/SNES/N64.

    I can see...
    Punch Out
    Dig Dug
    Mappy
    Kid Icarus
    Dr Robotnik
    Pacman
    Paroduis
    Kirby
    Mario
    Outrun
    Donkey Kong
    Rainbow Islands
    New Zealand Story
    Bubble Bobble
    Kid Dracula
    Bomberman
    Gouls n Ghosts
    Bombjack
    Legend of the Mystical ninja

...Then I realised the list is a few hundred long and gave up.

the robot is Rob the robot (N.E.S. accessory)

I can also see Alex Kidd (on the bike next to the car), mystical ninja (in blue on the right), and what looks like the Snow bros (above the hammer bros on the left) the big yellow thing on the left looks like a golden skull from Zelda to me.
    and (more importantly) bomberman!!!

Interesting, I guess I'm not the only one who liked kirby. I played it a few times at a friends house renting it and playing it on his SNES, hopefully it will be avablibe for wii and its not just some hoax.
