Nintendo DS connects with the Opera web browser

Yep, it's official, the Nintendo DS will enable you to have some wireless internet browsing with the Opera web browser.

Given how damn hard and clunky it is to surf the 'net with a PSP, the DS's touchscreen should make it a doddle.

Still the news is just as good now as it was then you can get the japaneese version on import from Lik-Sang at the moment, but i'll wait for the UK one personally.

I don't really count the UK as europe either though It really doesn't act like it..totally different culture (unfortunately closer to the US than the EU), different taxation, different laws, different side of the road to drive on, hell even the people tend to walk on different sides of the corridors...

When you have lived in both its easy to see the difference between the UK and the continent It's a different world...

True... but I take the fact the price is in pounds as to be a fairly big hint it'll hit the UK...

I am curious as to why there are 2 versions for the DS and DS Lite.
I thought the 2 machines were mechanically the same?
I just bought a DS Lite - am i not able to play all the GameBoy Advance games I thought I could?

They are the same essentially, but a different form factor and firmware means some slight differences. It's likely the main difference will be the GBA memory cart physical size that it comes with - the DSlite version will probably be smaller to fit flush in the DSlite.

Don't worry, you still have all the same functionality

Not quite new news though.. this has been around for ages.. but enough with the complaining This is great news that it'll be released in the UK, all more thorns in the side of the PSP mwhahahaha..

Any news on the Japanese movie player for the DS getting an Western release some time soon? (Play-Yan i think it's called)

I do it on mine whiles im outside having a smoke sometimes, although its not the best its not really that hard and I have seen worse ^^
